Tasting Notes: Bright red with violet hues. Aromas of redcurrant, raspberries and blackberry with a hint of spice. The palate has all the fruits - juicy & lively, with warming spice. Very easy drinking - one for sharing.
Perfect served chilled, 20 minutes in the fridge - do not chill as you would a white wine. Also good at room temperature. The low abv of 11% makes this a great lunchtime red wine.
Teroldego grape is mainly grown in the North East of Italy, the variety is a parent to Syrah or shiraz. The name comes from a town in the Trentino area - Teroldege. Harvested early in September to ensure lower alcohol content and fresh, ripe fruit flavours.
