Tasting Notes: Luminous soft red coat with tawny highlights. On the nose, a sweet spicy bouquet, then a basket of red and black fruits, crushed strawberry, blueberry, blackberry and blackcurrant with notes of pepper and undergrowth. The attack on the palate is savory, followed by richness and freshness with notes reminiscent of the nose and some mouthwatering spices, the crisp finish is soft without aggressive tannins.

IGP Pays de L'Herault : Agricultural Biologue certified.

The current owners of Domaine de Ravanès are Marc Benin, a Doctor in Oenology-Ampelology from the University of Bordeaux, and his two sons, Axel, responsible for production, and David, in charge of marketing. Three generations have succeeded each other in the service of the estate, cultivating land and a vineyard with a unique character.

Since the early 1970s, Guy Benin was one of the pioneers of quality replanting in the Languedoc, notably introducing Bordeaux grape varieties and trellised vines in the
Mediterranean region.
The team at Domaine de Ravanès, thanks to their expertise, has always prioritised
quality with a high-end positioning for their wines. One of the key moments that perfectly illustrates their commitment to quality production was the international recognition received in 2004 in London during a blind tasting. Indeed, 35 tasters-journalists ranked the cuvée "Les Gravières du Taurou" ahead of the legendary "Petrus" from the 1999 vintage.
Today, the estate has a production spanning 35 hectares under organic farming,
with both winemaking and bottling carried out on-site.

Food Match : Ideally served chilled as an aperitif as an alternative to rosé, this frank and atypical wine will easily accompany starters and charcuterie, but also cheeses and summer barbecue cuisine in general.
