A 'lip smacking' picpoul, citrus & herbs with stingingly refresh acidity.
Tasting Notes: Vibrant and fresh on the palate with ripe mango fruit, a slightly salty edge and underlying minerality. An ancient white wine variety also known as Piquepoul, which translates as ‘stings the lip’, referring to the grape’s high acidity. The most famous version is Picpoul de Pinet, which produces taut, full-bodied whites that have wonderful herbal & citrus aromas. Picpoul vines thrive in sandy soils and so are only found in coastal vineyards.
