Fruity & floral
Tasting Notes: Pale gold in colour with subtle green tints, with effervescence that lingers gracefully. Aromas of luscious fruitiness, elegantly interwoven with delicate nuances of white flowers - honeysuckles and acacia flowers. The palate is harmonious, with a delightful dryness without any harsh aggression thanks to a moderate number of residual sugars, offering a truly delicate and enjoyable experience that lingers long after the last sip.
Clay-limestone and flint-rich soils found in the river Cher’s right bank, called “perruches”. Hand-picked harvest in bins to allow for better respect of the fruit, followed by slow and gentle pressing for full extraction of the first juices only – and without any final press juices. The juice then undergoes low temperature fermentation to preserve quality and aromas, before being bottled for a second fermentation inside the bottle, “méthode traditionnelle”. Disgorgement only occurs after minimum 18 to 24 months of maturing in underground caves, where it remains until needed. Although this sparkling Crémant de Loire is Brut, it is flavoursome with sharpness, as it is dosed at around 9 grams of residual sugars.
Food Match : Serve at 8°C. Excellent as an aperitive, perfect with light and fresh appetizers like seafood salads, sushi, or bruschettas topped with ripe tomatoes and basil. For the main course, consider serving it with grilled fish or poultry dishes, as the wine's pleasant dryness and delicate nature will complement the flavours beautifully. Finally, for a delightful dessert pairing, opt for fruit tarts or a selection of creamy cheeses to round off the meal with a touch of elegance.
