Tasting Notes: Attractive and juicy. Ripe brambly fruits, dark raspberry and cherry aromas that follow through to the palate. Smooth and succulent, building to fine, plush mouth with powdery tannins that carry fresh red-plum and berry flavors to a delicious long robust finish, which should soften over the next few months.
This 160-acre estate is located to the west of Saint-Émilion. The wine, with its firm tannins and plenty of wood-aging flavors, is rich and, in this vintage, dense. It has power from the black fruits and freshness from juicy acidity. This wine will continue to improve for some years to come.
