100% Macabeo grown on alluvial soils in the foothills of the Moncayo mountain and the wider region of Aragon. After chilling the must, a short period of skin contact is followed by long slow fermentation at controlled temperature at between 22º and 26ºC in stainless steel tanks. Bodegas Borsao has a rich history from its beginnings as a cooperative in 1958 to the present day, the result of the union of three of the most important cooperatives that existed in the young DO.
