Berthet Raine Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2013
Full bodied red wine. Finesse & Power. Fantastic Value!
Tasting Notes: For those who think Chateauneuf du Pape is overpriced and underperforms, try this. Fantastic. A wine of real finesse and power. Really interesting nose of coffee, even menthol. Lots of effort, intensity and complexity to draw you in to the glass. Plump on the mid palate with fruit completely dominating the fine tannins. Herbs, ground pepper and black cherry. Ideal to drink now and over the next 6-7 years.
