More Info
Tasting Notes: Aromas of green apple, grapefruit and white fruits.. The palate is medium bodied, ripe fruits with herbaceous notes and a lovely saline finish. Fresh acidity makes this wine juicy and easy drinking.
The grapes for this wine come from vineyards planted in the 90s. The merseguera native grape, is of late maturation, obtaining pale, aromatic wines with moderate alcohol content and balanced acidity. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, never exceeding 16 degrees.
Merseguera is a little-known white wine grape variety grown along the southeastern coast of Spain. Plantings are relatively few, and centered on the vineyards of Valencia, Alicante and Jumilla. Merseguera is more often blended with other varieties, it is unusual to find a 100% Merseguera wine. Very little is exported, most is sold and drunk in Spain.
