More Info
Tasting Notes: Merlot is added to the main variety used in the production of Chianti Classico, Sangiovese. Typical Chianti Classico bouquet, fruity with a hint of violet, sapid and lightly tannic on the palate.
A jewel of incomparable beauty lies in the heart of Tuscany: the Chianti hills. In 1961, seventeen farmers gathered here to relaunch the local economy and give voice to Tuscany's countryside. So, it began an adventure destined to write the history of Tuscan wine: “Agricoltori del Chianti Geografico”. Its winegrowers have always worked hard to protect the ancient art of tradition and to enhance the excellence of the territory. The name ("Geografico") clearly identifies their deep-rooted belonging to the lands of Gaiole, Radda, and Castellina, the cradle of Chianti Classico.
