Rich spicy cherry achieved by partial air drying. Deliciously intense and ripe.
Tasting Notes: Medium bodied red wine with spicy dark red cherries and soft vanilla oak. Nice plum, cherry and blueberry aromas and flavours. Touches of savoury herbs and liquorice in the finish. The texture is very soft and smooth - making this very easy drinking. The famous wine making process Appassimento : partial air drying of the grapes to increase the flavour.
Food Match : Think Italian - pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce, spaghetti carbonara, pizza. Good with stews too
