Tasting Notes: Powerful aromas of dark cherry, hints of anise and coffee. The palate is medium to full bodied with delicious ripe blackberry & dark cherry flavours, hints of fresh herbs. Supporting, soft - well integrated tannins carry the flavours to a wonderful long finish.
Caroline Cassot took over Chateau la Coustarelle from her parents in 2009. Chateau la Coustarelle has been in the family since 1870.
In 2002, with qualifications needed to run a vineyard, Caroline joined her parents. Taking full control in 2009. The property covers 50 hectares, mainly south facing terraces. She has focused on sustainable farming, developing wines from the different parcels to shine with individual character.
