Brimming with dried fruit flavours, smooth silk tannins. An exceptionally refined wine.
More Info
Tasting Notes: Brimming with dried fruit, wild strawberries, fresh plum & raspberry with hints of herbs and pepper in the finish. Soft vanilla oak and chocolate adds to the character. Although the tannins are firm , they are soft and silky carrying the flavours to a delicious long finish. Lovely citrussy acidity keeps this wine fresh. This is an exceptionally smooth, refined wine.
Bodegas Muriel is found in the town of Elciego in Rioja Alavesa. The vineyards are both in Alavesa and Rioja Alta and are planted on clay and limestone soils. The wine is aged for 24 months in a mix of French and American oak and then bottled and aged for two more additional years before its release.
