Tasting Notes: Made with 100% Pinot Noir, Laurent-Perrier Rosé has a soft, inviting texture and a ripe, almost baked strawberry and a vanilla cream that are make this champagne very special. It’s not sweet though – oh no – this is beautiful Brut that is just sweet enough… Unlike most Rose Champagne's, the basis of Laurent-Perrier Cuvee Rose is obtained by drawing juice from black grapes in the vat, not only by blending red and white wine, giving the champagne is wonderful colour. It is cellared for at least four years.
Laurent-Perrier Rosé is not so much a Champagne as an adored institution. The delightfully squat, curvaceous bottle has something to do with its charm, admittedly, but it is, of course, the juice inside that has led to such acclaim.
Food Match : Delicious on it's own. Shellfish, salads, cured meats, summer fruits
