Delicate aromas of cherry, strawberry and blackberry. Full-bodied in the mouth with silky tannins.
Tasting Notes: Ripe morello cherry and black stone fruits fill the nose, enhanced by some hints of delicate spice. A rich mouth with silky tannins, it is expressive and lingering. The 2017 vintage was very dry, but was relatively cool. Moderate day temperatures and cool evenings resulted in wonderful flavour concentration. Traditional Burgundian vinification takes place with destemmed grapes and maturation on fine lees.
The 3 hectares of Pinot Noir, mainly looking east, are planted in the village of Cogny, where soils are a mix of clay, rock, chalk and siliceous pebbles.
Food Match : Perfect with grilled meats - both red and white. Light game, tuna, charcuterie, beef stews. Soft cheese.
