Baccolo Rosso Appassimento Parzile 2017 £8.89 x 2 : Grape : Merlot & Corvina from the Veneto region of Northern Italy. Medium bodied red wine with spicy dark red cherries and soft vanilla oak. Nice plum, cherry and blueberry aromas and flavours. Touches of savoury herbs and liquorice in the finish. The texture is very soft and smooth - making this very easy drinking. Las Condes Carmenere 2019 £7.70 x 2 : Grape : Carmenere from the Central Valley, Chile. This singular grape has proven to be Chile’s great asset. Las Condes here has created a fine example, mid weight with all aspects in perfect balance. The grainy texture to the wine adds a nice bite in the mouth, with black cherry and cranberry fruits on the finish. Wonderfully smooth with ripe tannins and smooth finish.
