Tasting Notes:  A textbook example of a Cru Bourgeois from Moulis-en-Médoc. The 2007 vintage is drinking really well with a classic mix of dark bramble fruit and cigar box smokeyness and a long lingering finish.  A serious, intense wine, a success for the vintage, with its dusty tannins, solid blackberry fruits and a firm core. The wine is weighty, maybe just giving a green pepper hint, but generally sitting foursquare in the mouth.

Château Anthonic is located near to the village of Moulis-en-Médoc and spread over 31 hectares on caly - limestone -gravel soils. This Château was bought in 1977 by the Cordonnier family and produced its first vintage in 1981. Anthonic's most famous neighbours are Château Chasse-Spleen and Châteauu Clarke
