It has a restrained savoury, citrus and herbal nose followed by greater intensity on the palate. Cooked lemons, green apples and a stone, flinty minerality are complemented by a nice citrus acidity to the end with a lovely clean finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis Chablis come from a very small plot next to the church, where the parish priest once cultivated his garden and a few vines of recognised quality.  Grown on Kimmeridgian soils, on south and south-eastern facing slopes in the commune of Beine. This 1.5 hectare plot of vines with an average age of 40 years old only produces about 9000 bottles per year.
