Perfect for drinking now, but has excellent aging potential.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis Meursault is vinified in oak, of which 20-25% is new oak and then aged for between 10-18 months, depending on the year. Both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in barrel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA family estate for several generations (the Meursault estate's family tree goes back to 1789).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1974 Christian took over his parents' estate, with vines mainly in Meursault, and some of his father-in-law's vines in Savigny lès Beaune. His son, Christophe, joined him in 1995. Together they expanded the estate with plots in Meursault, Savigny lès Beaune, Chorey lès Beaune and Beaune. Today Christophe manages the estate, now totalling 9 hectares.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eReds and wines are almost evenly balanced.
