Tasting Notes: This wine is edgy, with good acidity and tannins but also has lovely intense flavours of blackberry and mulberry fruit. The minerals provide a long, fresh finish. Very moreish!
Dry farmed Carignan from vineyards nestled into Curico's coastal mountains. Lucha Rocosa means rocky struggle and refers to the vines struggle to find water and minerals in dry conditions.
Made with Carignan grapes from unirrigated vineyards nestled into Curico's coastal mountains. Blended with 15% Grenache to flesh out the Carignan and give it some juiciness.
Food Match : This needs to be paired with gutsy, rustic food - cassoulet, slow-cooked shoulder of lamb with herbs and garlic, spicy bean casserole.
